Used Hearing Aid Batteries?  CHHA Manitoba Chapter collects used hearing aid batteries to ensure their safe disposal.  You can drop them off at our office at SMD Clearinghouse, 2nd floor, 825 Sherbrook Street, or save up a bunch and bring them to our next meeting!

Old Stuff:  What about that old behind-the-ear hearing aid you tossed in your dresser drawer?  If you don't want it, CHHA Manitoba Chapter may be able to find a use for it, either for demonstration purposes, or as a loaner/trial aid through the Central Speech and Hearing Clinic.  Units that can be used as loaners by the clinic will garner you a receipt for income tax purposes, so be sure to include your name and address along with that old hearing aid.  You can bring your old aid to the CHHA Manitoba Chapter office at SMD Clearinghouse, 2nd floor, 825 Sherbrook Street.  Remember - behind-the-ear models only.

Web site info:  Our site includes a Board Member Forum menu item, a section set aside to conduct board business.  Only board members have access to this section, although in the future we may be able to include an open discussion forum as well.
