Apps for People With Disabilities

A September 20, 2019 story on the CBC’s website explains why technology companies are creating apps for people with disabilities.  For example, the  story references the news that in February, Google began offering Live Transcribe, an app that transcribes speech in almost real-time .. and it can also transcribe dozens of languages.  This application may be ideal for people with hearing loss who have significant difficulty hearing in noisy environments.  You can read the whole CBC story here:  CBC News – why tech giants are creating apps for people with disabilities
