The TRANSCONA HARD OF HEARING SUPPORT Group will be meeting on the third Monday of each month at 328 Whitter AVE W 1-2:30 PM starting Sept 18. TOPIC: Improving communication with friends and family. This is for both the hard of hearing and those talking to them. All welcome.

BEYOND HEARING AIDS –COPING WITH HEARING LOSS Unlike eyeglasses, hearing aids do not restore your hearing to what it once was leaving you struggling to make sense of the spoken word. Starting Friday September 22 at 1 pm-3pm, there will be 8 afternoon sessions at the St. James 55+ Centre to give you an opportunity to share and learn better ways of coping. Each session is independent so join as many as you can. All welcome.

We will be using the power point presentation Silence No More to explore the emotional whirlwind and hidden impact of hearing loss created by Tammy Perry.
