Manitoba Health will provide financial assistance for the purchase of telecommunications devices for anyone with a profound hearing loss or speech impairment who would benefit from having this equipment. This assistance applies to devices such as TTYs, iPhones, Blackberrys, iPads and similar devices as long as they can be used by the individual for the purpose of communication such as texting.
