HARD OF HEARING IN-PERSON SUPPORT GROUP
The support group located in Transcona will be meeting again on the third Monday of every month at Abundant Life Baptist Church, 1396 Plessis Rd. The meeting will start at 1 pm with a 45-minute section on sharing stories and learning coping skills. Then there will a 15-minute break for coffee. Following the break will be an optional 30-minute introduction to speech reading session ending the session at 2:30 pm. Everyone is welcome including spouses and friends. HARD OF HEARING ONLINE SUPPORT GROUP
This group meets via Zoom with closed captioning as an option on the third Monday evening of each month from 7:30 – 8:30 pm. To register and receive a link, please contact chhamanitoba@outlook.com. We will be beginning by looking at and discussing a PowerPoint presentation called Silence No More created by Tammy Perry. The first session is September 19. These sessions are free, sponsored by CHHA-MB.
