Participants needed! DHH Research Study – Access to Mental Health Services

Manitoba Possible is conducting a research study regarding access to mental health services for adults in Manitoba who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Presentation for Participants or Service Providers
A presentation will take place via Zoom on Friday, January 7 from 1 pm – 2 pm. This meeting will discuss the study, how to get involved, and how to recruit further participation for focus groups and online surveys.

Participate in the Study
Manitoba Possible is looking for adults 18+ who are deaf or hard of hearing who may be interested in participating in a research study regarding access to mental health services as well as for recruitment of service providers to obtain feedback on access to mental health services for those who are deaf or hard of hearing.

To date, one focus group has been conducted (small research group of 4 participants). They are looking to conduct 3-4 more in 2022.

Please help with recruiting and sharing this information to bring awareness to this study.
